RWE NUKEM Corp. operates its Fixed Base Facility under Alaron Corporation's NRC Radioactive Materials License. RWE NUKEM Corp. also holds a South Carolina Radioactive Materials License for its Columbia Maintenance Facility. In addition, the company has NRC-licensed Type B packages, an NRC-approved QA Program meeting the requirements of 10 CFR 71, Subpart H and a DOT Type 7A Certification for its fleet of transportation casks. RWE NUKEM Corp. maintains 7 Type B and over 35 Type A casks and has safely completed over 1 million miles of cask transportation in 2003 alone. |
